Community Outreach
At Altura Engineering & Design, we feel an obligation to promote the profession of engineering and build a local workforce. We provide internships to high school and college students to teach skills that will prepare them for future careers. We have had interns work with us through high school and college and now work with us as full-time employees.

We regularly attend middle school and high school career fairs to expose students to careers in engineering. We volunteer time to help with STEM programs like MATHCOUNTS, TAME, Kids College, and Los Barrios de Amarillo Step Up To Success. We donate to Los Barrios de Amarillo, the NAACP, and West Texas A&M University to provide engineering student scholarships.
